Additionally, WWE has introduced a new “Immortal Moment” category to the Hall of Fame. The inaugural inductee in this category is the legendary WrestleMania 13 match between “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Bret “Hitman” Hart. This match is celebrated for its intense storytelling and is widely regarded as a pivotal moment in wrestling history.

These inductees join previously announced honorees Triple H, Michelle McCool, and Lex Luger. The induction ceremony is scheduled for April 18, 2025, at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, preceding WrestleMania 41.

“Unfortunately, I’ve been dealing with an injury that’s gotten worse over time. After talking with doctors and WWE officials, I’ll be stepping away for a bit to recover and come back stronger. This isn’t goodbye — it’s just a pit stop. I’ll see you all soon.”
